How long does a fade last? The upkeep guide

A fade stays really sharp for 2–3 weeks; a high skin fade shows regrowth after about 10 days, while a taper can last 3–4 weeks. The easiest way to keep a cut on point is a regular booking.

The right rhythm for your cut

  • Skin fade / high fade: every 2 weeks.
  • Mid or low fade: every 2–3 weeks.
  • Taper: every 3–4 weeks.
  • Shaped beard: a line-up every 1–2 weeks.

Between visits

  • Wash gently: a mild shampoo 2–3 times a week is enough.
  • Moisturise the scalp, especially after a skin fade (the Agadir sun dries it out).
  • Style with the right product: cream for curls, matte wax for texture.
  • Don't touch up the line-up yourself — a wrong line is hard to fix.

What about after a bleach?

Platinum blond needs more care: purple shampoo once a week, a hydrating mask, and protection from sun and sea water. Roots show after 3–4 weeks.

PREGA ✦Squad tip: book your next slot as you leave the chair — it's the best way to never have an in-between cut.
